Copper scrap buyer in Dammam
Copper sits at the top of the yard’s buying list, so the grade decides real money. canasa names the grade from your photos, writes the price per kilo before you load, and weighs the copper on a certified scale in front of you.

The copper grades we buy
Four kinds of copper reach the yard. Each one gets its own line on the written quote.
- 01Copper #1, bare bright
Clean, uncoated, salmon-red wire and pipe that bends without cracking. Stripped wire, new pipe offcuts and coil ends usually make this grade.
- 02Copper #2
Tarnished, painted or soldered copper that still runs 94% copper or more. Old plumbing, water heater pipe and AC coils land here.
- 03Insulated cable
Copper still inside its jacket, priced on how much metal is left once the plastic comes off. Thick cable recovers more than thin.
Cable scrap - 04Copper inside machines
Electric motors and AC compressors carry copper windings inside a steel body. The yard buys both whole, so there is no need to cut them open.

Before you bring copper
A little sorting at your end keeps each piece at its own grade.
- 01Keep the grades apart
Put bright wire in one bag and tarnished pipe in another. The grader can then price each bag on its own line instead of working out a ratio.
- 02Cut off brass and steel
Brass valves, steel clamps and fittings soldered onto pipe pull the grade down. Cut them off where you can and sell the brass separately.
- 03Do not burn cable
Burning off the jacket leaves blackened copper that no longer makes bare bright, and the smoke is harmful to breathe. Sell cable with its jacket on.
Questions about copper
What copper sellers ask before the first load.
What is the price of copper scrap in Dammam today?
canasa does not publish a price list, because copper moves with the market and the grade decides most of the price. Send a photo and a rough weight on WhatsApp and a grader writes back the price per kilo for your grade during yard hours.
What is the difference between copper #1 and copper #2?
Copper #1 is clean and bright, with no coating, solder or fittings. Copper #2 is tarnished, painted or soldered, or has fittings left on, and still contains 94% copper or more. Copper #1 is priced higher.
Do you buy small amounts of copper?
Yes. A household or a single workshop load goes over the same certified scale as a factory programme and is paid on the same terms.
How do I get paid for copper?
You choose cash at the gate or a bank transfer. Either way the amount matches the written price and reaches you within seven days.

A clear picture and a rough weight are enough for the grader to name the grade and the price per kilo.
